Just so you know, the apartment is located on a street where car traffic is allowed for residents only, and it is impossible to access it by car. However, there is a guarded garage with easy access, literally a minute's walk from the apartment. Please get in touch with us for details!

Neighborhood overview
Quite simply one of the best locations in Budapest, in the absolute center at the famous Vaci walking street, close to the river Danube. Given its history, it has the highest concentration of sights in Budapest, and also the scenery and the architecture are just amazing around. Most buildings are over 100 years old yet kept in very good condition. The area is also home to the best in dining and entertainment that Budapest can offer. To give you a short introduction here is the walking distance of a few of the biggest attractions of Budapest:
Vaci street - 3 minutes
River Danube - 5 minutes
Vorosmarty square - 5 minutes
Erzsebet Square and Deak Square - 5 minutes
Dohany Street Synagogue - 5 minutes
St. Stephen Basilica - 10 minutes
Parliament - 20 minutes (or 10 minutes taking public transportation)
Buda Castle (including the National Gallery, Budapest Historical Museum, Mathias Church and the Fishermen's Bastion) - 25 minutes walk or 15 minutes by public transportation
Andrassy Boulevard and the Opera Building - 15 minutes
National Museum - 5 minutes
Getting around
The neighborhood has excellent public transportation connections as well. Deak Square that is a major transportation hub and has stops for three metro lines and several bus lines is a 1-minute walk from the apartment.
