The location is simply unbeatable. You are not only right across the St. Stephen Basilica, one of the biggest monument in Budapest, but also steps from the Erzsebet (Elisabeth) and Deak Ferenc squares, the absolute center of Budapest.
The famous Andrassy boulevard (with the Opera house) starts at the corner.
All tourist attractions and the major Christmas markets are within a close walking distance. Including (but by far this is not a complete list):
St. Stephen Basilica - 2 minutes walk
Dohany Street Synagogue - 5 minutes walk
Opera house - 5 minutes walk
Kazinczy Street Synagogue - 5 minutes walk

Getting around
Deak Ferenc square is a major public transport hub with stops to all three metro lines and several major bus and tram lines. Tram line 4 and 6 that runs through central Budapest 24/7 also got a stop nearby.
